Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Implement and manage on-page SEO optimisations including metadata, content structure, and internal linking.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical SEO issues; work with developers to resolve them effectively.
- Track SEO performance and user behaviour using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other tools.
- Generate regular SEO performance reports, and provide insights and improvements.
- Perform regular SEO audits to maintain best practices across the site.
- Keep up with the latest trends and algorithm updates in the SEO and digital marketing world.
- Work on local SEO strategies including Google My Business optimisation for improved local visibility.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, website architecture, and UX principles.
- Familiarity with paid marketing channels like Google Ads and social media advertising.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) techniques and principles.
- Project management capabilities to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience in SEO testing and experimentation to identify what works best.
- Ability to connect SEO with broader marketing initiatives, ensuring cohesive strategy execution.
