We are looking for a Manual Test Engineer with a solid understanding of testing principles and hands-on experience in manual, performance, and API testing. Exposure to automation tools and frameworks will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases (manual and, if applicable, automated) and analyze results
- Conduct manual testing across web and mobile applications
- Perform performance testing to assess responsiveness and stability
- Carry out API testing using tools like Postman or similar
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, etc.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements
- Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and status reporting
- Suggest process improvements and contribute to QA best practices
- Exposure or contribution to automation initiatives is a plus
Required Skills:
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing
- Strong experience in performance and API testing
- Good understanding of defect tracking tools and software QA methodologies
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of or exposure to automation testing (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) will be a plus
