What You’ll Build:
You’ll own the technical development of the Mend MVP, including:
- Onboarding flow with partner invitation and relationship profiling
- Real-time voice chat system with speaker tracking and AI-powered moderation
- AI-guided prompts for resolving conflicts and improving emotional communication
- Communication scoring system based on empathy, respect, clarity, and more
- Post-resolution features such as shared reflection and bonding suggestions
- Insights dashboard tracking weekly progress, reflections, and growth
- Calm and accessible UI/UX, optimized for voice-first interaction
Required Skills:
Focus on privacy, encryption, and user safety
iOS app development (Flutter)
Real-time audio/voice processing (e.g., WebRTC, Agora, Twilio Voice)
Experience integrating AI/LLM-based voice/text interfaces (e.g., OpenAI Whisper, GPT)
Basic NLP: sentiment/emotion detection, intent parsing
Backend development for voice/chat sessions and user data storage (Firebase, Supabase, Node.js, etc.)
Frontend UX: building audio visualizers, speaker indicators, score dashboards
