About the Opportunity:
- We are looking for a creative, fast-moving developer to take this vision from idea → working app in record time.
- You’ll be part of the founding team and may also step into a co-leadership / co-stewardship role depending on your vibe, execution, and contribution.
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Build & Ship v1 of the 144K App (invite-only social platform with minimal core features).
- Implement invite mechanics (each user gets limited codes, expiring codes, waitlist system).
- Design an engaging onboarding flow (users must bring a “gift” / offering to join).
- Create a beautiful, magnetic UI/UX that makes people want to invite their coolest friends.
- Develop core backend features: user auth, invite tracking, waitlist logic, inactivity removal.
- Iterate quickly with feedback from the Startupathon community.
- (Future) Explore integration of AI-powered collective intelligence tools.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in mobile app development (Flutter, React Native, or Swift/Kotlin).
- Backend skills with Node.js, Python, or similar, plus database design (Firebase, Supabase, Postgres, etc.).
- Passion for rapid prototyping and lean startup methods.
- Strong eye for UI/UX design – ability to make an app that feels special and exclusive.
- Comfortable with scaling architectures for a large, global user base.
- Interest in psychology, collective intelligence, spiritual/awakening movements (bonus).
