Main Purpose:

Bachelor To ensure the integrity, safety, and uninterrupted operation of the Gas & water pipeline network across the RIL CBM Shahdol block by implementing proactive maintenance, inspection, and risk management strategies.


Job Accountabilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk-based integrity assessments of pipelines including gathering lines, trunk lines, and headers.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Pipeline Integrity Management Plans (PIMP) adhering to OISD, OMR 2017 and RIL standards for HDPE & Carbon Steel lines.
  • Identify and assess corrosion risks (internal and external), mechanical damage, and threats from third-party interference.
  • Oversee and ensure the effectiveness of corrosion control measures such as cathodic protection (CP) systems, coating inspections and pigging schedules.
  • Plan and coordinate inline inspection (ILI), Direct Assessment (DA), hydrotesting, and leak detection activities.
  • Prepare, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for safe pipeline operation and isolation.
  • Supervise activities such as hot tapping, stopple operations, pipeline tie-ins, and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues including pressure drops, flow restrictions, and leaks.
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation including P&IDs, alignment sheets, pipeline data books, and crossing records.
  • Prepare and submit periodic integrity reports (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual) to management.


Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree in mechanical / electrical engineering from a recognized university.
  • Expertise in Pipesim software.


Experience:

  • Hands on experience on oil & gas wells pipeline operations.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in upstream (E&P) Oil/Gas / Petchem / refinery industry.
