The Vancouver Airport Authority is offering a full-time, 4-month co-op opportunity in our Operations Department, starting May 2025.

This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that keeps YVR running safely, smoothly, and efficiently every day.

As a co-op student, you’ll support the delivery of key operational initiatives that align with YVR’s Strategic Plan—working closely with teams who ensure excellence in airport services, safety, and passenger experience.

We welcome applications from students of all backgrounds who are eager to roll up their sleeves, think critically, and contribute to meaningful projects in airport operations.

  • Lead the development of a first draft of the FWC26 Handbook for YVR staff, volunteers, and partners—including key info about matches, city happenings, transport, and airport operations.
  • Assist with operational planning efforts to ensure YVR is prepared to welcome the world during the tournament.

Operational Strategy & Reporting

  • Contribute to the strategic development of reporting processes and tools across Operations.
  • Design and build templates that support consistent and effective reporting.
  • Recommend improvements to existing reporting systems to enhance efficiency and workflows.
  • Help update internal reporting procedures to reflect new tools, processes, or best practices.
