Responsibilities of the Candidates:
- Lead the MVP development from 0 to 1
- Design and deploy an AI-driven recommender & scheduling engine
- Build a web-based AI agent platform that:
- Integrates with Open Dental software
- Scrapes patient data to identify lapsed or lost patients
- Predicts no-show risk and intelligently double-books where needed
- Sends automated SMS/email follow-ups
- Supports on-platform booking and payments
- Overrides insurance objections with smart discount/promo offers
- Integrate with third-party APIs like Open Dental, Twilio, Stripe, etc.
- Ensure platform security and HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with the dental founder for real-time user feedback
- Lay the groundwork for scalability and future feature rollouts
Requirements:
- Experience in AI/ML, backend development, or full-stack engineering
- Strong skills in Python, Node.js, or TypeScript
- Experience building or integrating AI agents, recommender systems, or automation tools
- Bonus: experience with healthcare software, Open Dental, or Twilio
- Startup builder mentality — ready to move fast, own outcomes, and iterate
- (Optional but valued): Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant architecture
