Gaysi Family was started in 2008. It is a media platform and community space for LGBTQ South Asians. We help share individual voices and stories from Southeast Asia. We help people think about and understand LGBTQ as a mindset and a way of feeling, not just about sexual orientation and gender identity. At Gaysi, we work with brands and organizations to media content and events that are inclusive of all genders and friendly toward queer people.

Gaysi Family also works as a creative agency for other brands. We design messages and full creative campaigns to help these brands become more known and visible.

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you’ll join a small, passionate, team. that values real-life experience just as much as design skill. We work on many different things – from creating visual identities for LGBTQ+ projects, making content inspired by South Asian pop culture. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to jump in and give it their all. You must be based in Mumbai.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing content for social media, brand materials, editorial layouts, web design, and more.
• Creating visuals that match each brand’s identity, while adding your own creative style.
• Brainstorming ideas, building mood boards, and developing concepts with the team.
• Helping with branding projects like logo design and building visual identities.
• Working closely with content creators, writers, and other designers.
• Making sure all designs stay consistent and high-quality.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of graphic design experience, at a studio, agency, or similar creative place.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• A strong portfolio that shows your can design for branding, social media, editorial, and websites
• Good understanding of fonts, layout, color theory, and visual order.
• Strong time management and the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Open to feedback, and has a team-friendly, can-do attitude.
• Based in Mumbai, this is a full-time, in-office job.

Even Better If You Know

• Experience with Figma or similar design tools.
• Basic skills in video editing or motion graphics.
• Comfortable with illustration, doodling, or visual storytelling.
• Interested in working on projects related to culture, identity, activism, or community.

Location: On-site (Khar West, Mumbai)

Pay: ₹3.5–4 Lakhs per year
