Position Overview
Are you interested in being part of the roll out of the Next Generation Baggage Service?
As part of the Baggage Operations Department, you’ll work alongside the team that is improving how millions of passengers move through our airport.
You’ll take the lead on key initiatives – from helping launch the Self-Serve Bag Drop (SSBD) system to refining internal processes that ensure safe, efficient, and future ready baggage operations.
You’ll gain real-world experience in operational planning, change management, and stakeholder engagement, all while contributing to YVR’s strategic goals.
What You’ll be Doing
- Support operational initiatives by researching and developing ORAT (Operational Readiness and Transition) documentation for the Self-Serve Bag Drop project.
- Enhance the Baggage Operations SharePoint site to streamline team communication and improve documentation access.
- Draft and roll out Bag Hall Safety Directives, collaborating with operations teams to ensure consistency and safety.
- Drive internal awareness through communications and recognition programs that align with project milestones.
- Work cross-functionally to validate your work with stakeholders, iterating in real-time to support operational readiness.

Salary Range : $24.08/hr + Living Wage top up to $27.05/hr
