What Youll Be Doing
As a Customer Service Specialist , you are the first point of contact for GT Tools customers and distributors. Youll work cross-functionally to support sales, resolve customer concerns, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Your role includes :
Responding to inbound inquiries with friendly, fast, and helpful support
Managing all sales and support communications across phone, email, and live chat
Entering and tracking orders in our ERP / MRP system
Supporting technical product questions and training initiatives
Assisting with warranty and service claims
Helping customers navigate our online training program
Monitoring and reporting on customer service metrics
Collaborating with the team to refine systems and improve the customer journey
Occasionally traveling to trade shows or client sites to represent GT Tools
What Youll Need to Succeed
A passion for helping others and genuine empathy for customers
Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication (both verbal and written)
The ability to explain technical concepts in simple, customer-friendly terms
An interest in tools, machinery, or automotive systems (youll learn fast!)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs , and CRM / ERP / MRP systems
Comfort with platforms like Shopify, Gorgias, Klaviyo, and Monday.com
A high level of organization and attention to detail
A drive to grow, contribute, and improve processes
Bonus Points If You :
Have experience in the automotive or auto glass industry
Are multilingual (Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Korean, or Arabic are a plus)
