We are currently looking for an experienced professional to join our team as Senior Associate Director, Data and Analytics.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the technical design and building of IT systems, adding AI features that support business goals.
• Set the technical standards and best methods for engineering teams.
• Guide and mentor other engineers, helping build a strong technical culture.
• Solve complex technical problems that affect multiple systems.
• Work closely with senior management to make sure technology choices support business goals.
• Review system designs to make sure they are secure, reliable, and able to grow.
• Research and bring in new capabilities that improve our services and efficiency.
• Make sure all technical work and AI tools follow Group Chief Information Office (GCIO) standards and banking rules.

To be successful, you will need:

• Wide experience working as a senior, lead, or principal software engineer, including experience building AI systems
• A strong background in building large-scale, secure systems, ideally in the financial sector
• Deep knowledge of modern software development, cloud computing, and system design
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and guide engineering teams
• Strong problem-solving skills to handle complex, system-wide challenges
• Clear communication skills to explain technical and AI ideas to both technical and non-technical staff
• Experience working in a strictly regulated environment with strong security rules
• A hands-on approach — comfortable reviewing code, testing AI tools, and leading by example
