Compensation: ₹35,000–₹43,000 per month, based on portfolio and experience

About Spruce Up Industries

Spruce Up builds industrial cleaning machines for Indian roads, including the Jatayu Super and Stratus 330.

We are launching Spruce Up Studio, an in-house team for creating high-quality product videos, training videos, service content, corporate videos, ads, and internal learning material.

Our goal is to make several videos every month with strong storytelling, excellent quality, and a consistent visual style.

The Role

We are looking for a Video Editor & Graphic Designer who will lead the editing and visual design work for Spruce Up Studio.

You will edit long and short videos, create motion graphics, thumbnails, static posts, and ad designs. You will also join brainstorming and planning sessions, and often go along with the producer on shoots.

This is not a desk-only editing job. You should be comfortable helping on location, using a second camera, and making sure the team captures the footage needed for the final video.

What You’ll Do

• Edit product, service, training, corporate, and internal videos.
• Create reels, Shorts, ads, and shortened versions for the sales team.
• Design thumbnails, static social posts, and digital ad content.
• Add subtitles, spec labels, feature call-outs, and motion graphics.
• Color-correct footage and clean up dialogue, voiceovers, music, and machine sound.
• Take part in idea development, storyboarding, and planning what shots are needed.
• Join shoots and help with cameras, framing, audio, and managing footage.
• Point out missing shots or technical needs before and during filming.
• Organize raw footage, project files, templates, and final exported videos.
• Help set up Spruce Up Studio’s editing and visual-brand systems.

Must-Haves

• 2–4 years of professional video-editing or multimedia-design experience.
• A portfolio showing long videos, short-form content, and graphic design.
• Strong skill in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Working knowledge of After Effects or similar motion-graphics tools.
• Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, color, and audio.
• Ability to create thumbnails, static posts, and ad designs.
• Basic knowledge of cameras, framing, and shooting on location.
• Willingness to join shoots often.
• Strong habits for managing files and meeting deadlines.

Great to Have

• Experience with industrial, automotive, manufacturing, or technical content.
• Experience using a second camera, gimbal, or location-audio equipment.
• Sound design and audio-mixing skills.
• Product photography and photo-editing experience.
• Experience creating high-performing YouTube and social media content.
• Hindi and Marathi communication skills.

4. A paid trial helping on a shoot, for final candidates.
