Job Description:
- Design, build, and maintain REST APIs and microservices that can handle growth, using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build backend services for fintech features like payments, transactions, ledgers (money records), KYC, and related tasks.
- Design and manage backend services on AWS using EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
- Design and improve SQL and NoSQL database structures, queries, and caching (storing data for faster access) for better performance.
- Use security practices like OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security, encryption, and OWASP guidelines to keep the backend safe.
- Help protect financial data and follow rules like PCI-DSS and other required standards.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and support packaged app deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Work with frontend teams using basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to connect APIs smoothly.
- Write unit and integration tests, join code reviews, and keep code quality strong.
- Take part in Agile meetings, solution planning, technical reviews, and writing API documentation.
- Work with architects, QA, product teams, and client-side people when needed.
- Find and fix issues in live systems quickly, with as little downtime as possible for important financial systems.
