Job Description
Mechanical Engineer – Dawsonville
- Applications engineering, cost analysis and mechanical design (2D and 3D) of heavy industrial machinery
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of fabrication and fit-up processes for heavy industrial machinery / parts, sheet metal properties, and large scale weldment design
- Sales drawings, full cost analysis, and quotes for projects ranging from $250k to $2M+
- Significant technical writing experience
- Creates and maintains a master copy of quote template (Word / PDF) and cost sheet (Excel) for RFQ / RFI analysis
- Creates and maintains all internal PDF forms (fillable forms) for RFQ analysis and part procurement.
- Creates all maintenance manuals and manages all updates to past, present and future equipment manuals (digital and hard copy)
