How You’ll Make an Impact:

We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer (.NET) to join our team and help build fast, scalable Cin7 modules. This role is mostly about .NET development on different types of projects, including apps built with .NET Framework, .NET, and ASP.NET MVC. The main focus isn’t frontend work, but you’ll need working knowledge of basic frontend tools like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

In this role, you’ll help design and build good .NET solutions, work on both front-end and back-end development, mentor junior developers, and work with different teams to deliver great software. What You’ll Do:

Work with different teams: Team up with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and developers to figure out what’s needed and deliver good software.

Build and maintain fast, reliable code: Keep improving our cloud-based SaaS inventory software using .NET, making sure it meets business needs and follows good coding habits.

Work on both front-end and back-end: Work across the app, database, and frontend when needed — building API features, writing and improving SQL queries, working with stored procedures and triggers, updating the UI, adjusting layouts, working with forms, and doing basic styling with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Lead projects: Take charge of complex features and modules, giving technical direction and mentoring to junior and mid-level developers.

Review code: Check code for consistency, quality, easy upkeep, and good performance, and give helpful feedback to teammates.

Improve performance and reliability: Find and fix things that slow the system down, security weak spots, growth issues, and other technical problems to keep the cloud system running smoothly.

Support testing: Help improve software quality by using good testing methods, like unit and integration testing, where needed.

Try new technologies: Keep an eye out for new tools and better ways of working, and use them to improve development and product quality.

Mentor others: Help build a culture of growth and teamwork by guiding junior and mid-level developers.

What You’ll Bring:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equal work experience.

Experience: At least 6 years of hands-on software development experience, mostly with .NET.

Core Skills:

• Strong skills in C# and .NET, including .NET Framework, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, web apps, and APIs
• Strong knowledge of software design basics and patterns, with real experience using them
• Lots of experience with databases like SQL Server — writing and improving queries, working with stored procedures, triggers, indexes, and fixing performance issues
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, including DOM handling, event handling, form checks, async calls, and working with API responses
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS, including clean code structure, page layout, responsive design, and styling existing UI
• Willing to work with existing frontend code when needed
• Understanding of unit and integration testing basics — how tests are written and organized
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Experience working in agile teams

Problem-Solving: Strong thinking and problem-solving skills, able to fix tricky issues across backend, frontend, database, and app layers.

Communication: Great writing and speaking skills, and works well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on cloud-based SaaS products
• Experience improving speed, growth, and reliability of live systems
• Some knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and secure coding
• Experience mentoring engineers and supporting good coding habits
