Working in our Global Data, Insight and Analytics (GDI&A) teams, you’ll turn complex business needs into clear technical tasks, work with different teams, and build products that clearly help the business succeed. You’ll work as an independent, highly skilled engineer who always writes clean code, improves code to make it easier to maintain, and keeps testing and security strong. In this role, you’ll make sure our products meet their performance goals through good monitoring and smart use of cloud resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical/quantitative field
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience across the whole software development process, with a track record of helping build several successful products
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic software/system design ideas
• 3+ years of hands-on development experience with core tools and languages (such as Python, Dash, React, and SQL)
• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS) and setting things up in a cost-effective way
• Experience with advanced CI/CD and security tools (e.g., SonarQube, FOSSA, Cycode, GitHub Copilot)
• Strong experience with Git version control, including managing branches, pull requests, and reviewing teammates’ code
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines and adding automated testing into the workflow
• Strong thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to turn business needs into technical tasks and get the team on the same page

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana) and setting/measuring performance goals
• Some knowledge of legal rules and guidelines for using Open Source Software
• Work experience in the automotive industry or in a Product Driven Organization (PDO) setup
• Self-motivated, loves learning, keeps up with new tech trends, and shares knowledge to help the team work better
• Great communication and teamwork skills, with experience working closely with different teams
