Are you interested in building new mobile banking apps from scratch and changing how business banking works in Australia?
Zeller is building an in-house mobile app team to reach more customers on more platforms and build mobile-focused banking products. As a Senior React Developer, you will have a say in our technology and design choices, and help build a world-class engineering culture, creating new banking and payment products.
We are looking for a skilled React Developer who focuses on results and is ready to join a product-focused culture at a fast-growing company.
On any given day, you will be:
- Leading the building and delivery of major product features.
- Improving and setting the standard for code quality, design patterns, and structural choices.
- Doing code reviews, supporting a culture of testing and automation, and helping maintain quality standards.
- Fully owning and supporting the features you build, as well as the quality and performance of the Zeller mobile app.
Your skills and experience:
- Experience building mobile apps, especially using the React Native framework.
- Shown leadership in setting and improving code standards within a team.
- Shown ownership and delivery of complex features and products.
- Experience with native iOS and/or Android development, and publishing apps to the App Store.
- Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, and solid experience in testing and quality practices.
- Experience working in a product-focused team, delivering fast, high-performing mobile apps.
- Excellent communication and planning skills, with a deep understanding of the customer and business needs.
- Excellent knowledge of good software engineering practices and the React Native ecosystem.
You may have experience in/exposure to:
- Experience working with CI pipelines, continuous delivery practices, AWS, and Event-Driven/CQRS backend systems.
- Strong understanding of Apple and Android’s design guidelines.
- Experience in payments and/or banking.
