About the Opportunity:
- We’re looking for a Product Designer to define the visual and interaction language of MEND. You’ll craft emotionally resonant user experiences that make people feel seen, supported, and safe.
- You’ll work closely with the founders and engineers to shape the product from the ground up from concept to polished UI.
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Own the end-to-end product design of the app: user flows, wireframes, UI, visual systems
- Design an intuitive, conversational AI chat interface that feels alive and empathetic
- Create landing pages and onboarding flows that explain the product clearly and emotionally
- Build features like:
- Real-time voice-to-AI conversation
- In-person conversation listening mode
- Chat history and insights dashboard
- Work with product and engineering to ship fast, iterate faster
- Advocate for emotional clarity and user-centric design
Requirements:
- Have experience designing consumer mobile apps
- Have a strong aesthetic sense and love minimalist, modern interfaces
- Can design for emotion, not just function
- Are comfortable working with early-stage teams and ambiguity
