Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive therapy services to clients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties in an on-site clinical setting in Chennai. This full-time role involves conducting detailed baseline assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering one-on-one and small-group therapy sessions, and documenting progress using clear, objective measures and reports. The role includes educating and counseling clients and families on therapy goals, home practice, and strategies to improve functional communication. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with other professionals as needed, maintain accurate clinical records, and participate in case discussions and periodic training to ensure high-quality, ethical care.
Work hours- 2 to 7 pm (6 hours only) on Weekdays and 10 am to 3 pm (5 hours only) on Saturdays
Qualifications
- B.ASLP/ MASLP /MScSLP
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and the assessment and treatment of Speech-related difficulties.
- Candidates should possess expertise in managing Communication Disorders and Language Disorders across age groups.
- Valid professional registration or license as required by local regulatory bodies.
- Strong documentation, case management, and time-management skills, with attention to detail and client safety.
- Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients and families, and to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Prior clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or educational setting is preferred. However freshers can also apply
- Tamil language fluency is a must.
