SBR Business School is looking for dynamic and result-oriented professionals to join our Placement Team.

We are hiring for the following positions:

1. Placement Manager / Senior Manager

Experience: 4-8 years

Qualification: MBA or equivalent from a reputed business school

Preferred Specialisation: Finance, Business Analytics (BA), or Data Science (DS)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to onboard new companies for student placements and internships.
• Build, maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with existing recruiting companies.
• Identify and engage companies across relevant industries to create quality placement and internship opportunities.
• Negotiate and finalise placement requirements with recruiting companies.
• Understand industry requirements and align placement opportunities with student skills and academic programmes.
• Organise and facilitate regular meetings and communication with recruiting companies.
• Monitor placement outcomes and ensure quality opportunities for students.
• Address and resolve issues or concerns arising during the placement process.
• Lead and mentor the placement team to ensure smooth execution of placement activities.
• Track placement performance, recruitment outcomes and company engagement.
• Prepare and present MIS, placement reports and updates to senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, hiring patterns and emerging sectors to identify new placement opportunities.
• Drive campus recruitment initiatives and expand the institute’s network of recruiting companies.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in placements, recruitment, business development or a related field.
• Strong understanding of campus placements, recruitment processes and industry requirements.
• Experience working with a reputed business school/institution will be preferred.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful placement strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and team-management experience.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines.

2. Placement Executive

Experience: Relevant experience in placements, recruitment or a related field.

Key Responsibilities-

• Register students on the placement management platform Superset.
• Upload student CVs and maintain an updated CV bank.
• Ensure students acknowledge and comply with the Placement Policy.
• Coordinate and ensure student participation in placement orientations.
• Coordinate mock GDs, Personal Interviews (PI), aptitude tests and other placement preparation activities.
• Collect students’ preferred companies, job roles and expected CTC.
• Research company profiles and reviews to ensure the quality and relevance of JDs shared with students.
• Coordinate with companies and float JDs to eligible students through Superset.
• Create batch matrices and maintain accurate student placement data.
• Track student registrations and create WhatsApp groups for smooth placement-related communication.
• Address student queries and grievances related to JDs, eligibility and the placement process.
• Match student profiles with recruiter requirements and eligibility criteria.
• Maintain MOMs, JD trackers, training trackers, MIS reports, placement analysis and daily EOD reports.
• Follow up with students regarding offer letters and ensure completion of required documentation.
• Maintain physical and digital records of JDs, offer letters, opt-in/opt-out forms and other placement documents.
• Support and coordinate campus recruitment drives.
• Arrange necessary logistics and support for recruiters visiting the campus.
• Assist in preparing the Placement Deck, Placement Brochure, placement reports and other placement-related materials.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of the complete placement process.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or MBA in HR, Business Administration or a relevant discipline.
• Prior experience in placements, recruitment or student career services will be preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good coordination, follow-up and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and placement management platforms such as Superset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
• Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and work within deadlines.
• Professional approach towards students, recruiters and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to work during placement drives and recruitment events as required.
